Fourtune Favours The Brave- #MakeupRevolution Collaboration with The British Beauty Blogger

So over the past few weeks maybe even a month or so Makeup Revolution have been lining up some amazing new products and releasing new collections to make our hearts melt! This week I have picked up a few pieces one being the Rose Gold Lipstick Collection and next the 'Fortune Favours The Brave Palette'. This palette is in collaboration with The British Beauty Blogger (Jane Cunningham), whom many of you may have heard of.
As soon as I heard of this palettes release, I just knew that I had to have it. The original release date I believe was the 17th of March this was moved forward with the early release on 14th of March! It took around 3 days to arrive!

So slightly obvious but the palette is called Fortune Favours the Brave and honestly this palette is beautiful, it’s a collection of everything from the easy everyday shades such as, suits-all nudes, to smoky plums right through to the more evening and wearable bold shades where we can see colours such as navy and moss green.
Prior to the release of this palette, I'd been having a nosy at what would feature in this palette, but let's face it we all knew that Jane would never miss out on a navy shade! I would say this palette is a blend of many palettes a mix of those go to palettes making one palette to suit all, I honestly would say that there is something for everyone in this palette.

Starting with the packaging this palette, like all Makeup Revolution Palettes (MUR) has its outer packaging, for this palette it is matte gold card, with the back showing all thirty shades, this again is expected on a MUR Palette.
Inside this box is a stunning palette, with matte gold plastic housing this is accented with the Chinese symbol of good fortune on the front. This palette  features thirty pressed powder eyeshadows, as well as a full-sized mirror which is perfect, especially for traveling. This palette also comes with a small double-ended eyeshadow brush which is brilliant as with the MUR larger palettes a brush isn't included.
This palette is £9.99 which is slightly more than their normal palettes however since this is a collaboration it is expected and is still super cheap in comparison to other brands!

Within the palette, you'll find a gorgeous mixture of matte, shimmer and marble multi-toned shadows, all of which are individually named on the plastic overlay.
Starting with the first Row (L-R): Glimmer, Buffer, Peachy, Hope, Fortune, Skylight, Transformer, Midnight Rainbow
Second Row: Ice Cloud, Golden Coins, Cashmere, Tip Top, Yes Please, Green Machine, Smoothie

Third Row: Caffeine Fix, Latte, Pink Diamond, Creme, Drama Queen, Lonely Planet, Blacqua
Bottom Row: Soft, New World, Favour, Sunset Hour, Super Gold, Winning, Brave, The Revolution

I will have a video on my Youtube channel about this palette if you prefer to watch rather than read... yes I do too... I'm not lazy...
(So keep checking back here!)

Swatches of the palette are as follows;

Starting Top to Bottom: Glimmer, Buffer, Peachy, Hope, Fortune, Skylight, Transformer, Midnight Rainbow
Top to Bottom: Ice Cloud, Golden Coins, Cashmere, Tip Top, Yes Please, Green Machine, Smoothie
Top to Bottom: Caffeine Fix, Latte, Pink Diamond, Creme, Drama Queen, Lonely Planet, Blacqua

Top to Bottom: Soft, New World, Favour, Sunset Hour, Super Gold, Winning, Brave, The Revolution

This palette does not fail to give you an array of shades allowing the creation of amazing looks. I love this palette and I am so glad I managed to pick it up on the early release!

Overall I would say this palette is a perfect piece to add to any kit, there is a mix of essential shades meaning that there is something for everyone. This palette is soft and buildable.
Packaging I would say 10/10, I would give the formulas 9/10 and the colours 10/10.

Overall 9.5/10 for this beautiful palette.
Let me know if you manage to pick this up, let me know what you think!

Thanks for Reading,
Much Love

xoxo
